Thank you for taking the time to visit my OneSight page.

 

As many of you might know, I’ve been involved with the OneSight Foundation over the past 3 years helping the organization in collecting second hand glasses and having volunteered in clinics in Eastern Europe & South Africa, helping people who do not have access to eye care or cannot afford a pair of glasses giving them the “Gift of Sight”.

OneSight Foundation, is a family of charitable programs dedicated to improving vision for those in need through outreach, research and education.  For more than 20 years, OneSight has been committed to providing clear vision to millions in need through the hand-delivery of primary vision care and eyewear. 

On the 17^th January 2011 I will be going to Nakon Rachasima, about  250 km North East from Bangkok, Thailand, together  with 35 other volunteers and optometrists to hand deliver free optical glasses. We will be there for 2 weeks and plan to do free eye test and give recycled optical glasses to over 15,000 people.

It is difficult to imagine what a difference a single pair of glasses can make to the life of a person, there are plenty of children there that could have a better life being able to read, get a better education or even adults that could find a better job thanks to a pair of optical glasses.
