Story

In June 2020 I lost my beautiful daughter Sadhbh. A week before she died, Sadhbh encouraged me to share my passion for gardening to help other people with their gardens. Because of this, I am partaking in the ‘Pledge to Plant’ fundraiser for the Irish Hospice Foundation, the national charity for dying, death and the bereaved.

I have grown and potted up a huge selection of plants in memory of Sadhbh. Although she never used the hospice service, I think she would be happy that the garden she loved is being used to raise money for others in need. I invite you to visit the garden this week and choose a plant to take home in Sadhbh’s memory. Alternatively, you can make a donation via the Just Giving page.

Garden Open: Thurs 24th - Sat26th June 2-6pm
Address: 27 The Paddocks, Naas
