As part of the cardiology team at Great Ormond Street Hospital I am able to see first hand how important the charity is to our children and families during challenging times. Not only does the charity support families, vital funds for training and research are provided, meaning we can continue to provide world class care for children with even the rarest of diseases.  

This will be my third middle distance triathlon - swim 1.9km bike 90km and run 21km - competing as part of Team Hatch; headed by James Hatchley who has done so much for the GOSH charity since our first Olympic distance triathlon in 2015. All in memory of his daughter Emma who sadly passed away after long stay in the cardiac intensive care at the hospital.
