My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 6th May I will be taking part in a walk at Rutland Water for Crohn's and Colitis UK. It may not be a marathon but as a Crohn's sufferer (and generally unfit person!) this is still a big personal challenge and I hope to raise some funds for the charity that has helped me so much since my diagnosis four years ago.

Crohn's and Colitis UK aims to improve life for everyone affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), the most common forms being Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Together these conditions affect about 250,000 people in the United Kingdom.

Crohn’s and Colitis UK is the new name for The National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s Disease (NACC). Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis often start in teenagers and young adults and last a lifetime. The Charity provides support to those affected and raises funds for research into a cure.
