Loch Ness World Record Charity swim for the Fire-Fighters Charity.
Five of London’s Fire Fighters are in need of your help. We have set ourselves a world record challenge, with the goal of raising money for the Fire-fighters Charity. Our challenge is to swim four lengths of Loch Ness in under 50 hours a task that has never been attempted before, the current record is a mear three lengths.
Loch Ness is 24 miles long and 1 mile wide. With an average water temperature of between 5 – 6 degrees it is extremely cold, add a monster to the equation and you have a very challenging event.
Due to the magnitude of this event we are hoping to create a large media interest to include national radio, sporting magazines and the news papers.
We aim to start our world record attempt on or about the 2nd September 2011.
Yours in Hope,
Fire-fighters;
Andy Hanlon, Luke Sedge, Alan Freaney, Tracy Doyle, Dave Matthews.
