Haiti: The worst things seem to happen to the weakest people.
LondonRuns4Haiti in aid of the Disaster Emergency Committee - Haiti Earthquake Appeal
Run Hyde Park, Sunday 17th starting at 10am, Speakers Corner. Please Help - Run or Sponsor
No matter who you are and where you live in the UK we are better off than the people in Haiti on a daily basis. After the earthquake this is more true than ever. The estimates are horrific with up to 50,000 people dead and hundreds of thousands affected. It is hard to believe that a country does not even have the resources to afford the emergency services to help the dead and injured. The harrowing pictures on news sites like the bbc http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8458439.stm show people dead and dying on their own on the roadsides. PLEASE let's do something to help. It can start with LondonRuns4Haiti for http://www.dec.org.uk/:
