Children's Hospice

 

We, in the Londonderry Junior Chamber of Commerce will be attempting to raise over £5,000 in aid of the Children's Hospice by the 1st October this year, and we're asking all our friends, family and colleagues to donate whatever they can afford at the minute to help the Hospice's work continue (seriously even just a couple of pounds or the price of a couple of pints would brilliant, big donations are fantastic, but it's all the small ones that will make the difference, and please remember 100% of your donation will go directly to the Hospice).

The Northern Ireland Children's Hospice cares for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and supports their families and those close to them. Care is provided across Northern Ireland.

There are over 750 life-limited children and young people living in Northern Ireland. Life- limiting conditions include conditions such as Muscular Dystrophy and genetic disorders such as Batten’s Disease, and life-threatening conditions such as cancer and heart disease. These children have very complex needs often requiring 24 hour care and many will die before reaching adulthood.

We'll be doing various activities over the course of the year from the gruelling Belfast Marathon to hectic bag packing at Sainsbury's!

All donations big or small are very welcome, and 100% of your donation will go directly to the Hospice, Just Giving take their 3% adminstration charge from the Gift-Aid they will re-claim for the Hospice.  Also please don't forget to add the name of the person in the chamber who encouraged you to donate, you can do this in the comment box when you're donating.
