Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 1st August 2010 Andrea Mclean from Loose Women will be starting off three ladies on an epic journey.  Ramona, Miriam and Joanne will be attempting to cycle between Lowestoft and St David's Head in Wales, a journey that will take them from East to West approx 425 miles.  On average they will attempt to cycle at least 75 miles a day.

The Challenge is being attempted to raise money for Brain Tumour UK on behalf of Angela Gregg, who in February 2009 was diagnosed with a Meningioma Brain Tumour, approx 2.5cm in the Cavernous Sinus region of the Brain.  Unfortunately due to the position the Tumour cannot be removed, however Angela has undergone 7.5 weeks of Radio Therapy at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and is doing well.  Angela is a single mother of three children and also has Psarosis Arthiritus but has a very positive, outgoing focus on life and has created a "Bucket List" of things she would like to achieve in the rest of her life and raising money for Brain Tumour Awareness is one of them.

Brain Tumour UK and Meningioma UK are both Charities that bring Support and Information to Brain Tumour Patients across the UK and are bringing much needed awareness to this condition.   There are many types of Brain Tumours Graded between 1 and 4 with varying levels of seriousness.  These two charities need money to continue the Research into how and why we get Brain Tumours and to continue with their support to Patients and their Families.

We have managed to get some Sponsors for the girls to achieve this event, and we have posted their Logo's on the pictures and to those that have we thank you very much. We want to raise as much money as we can for this Charity and would ask you to dig deep and help us achieve our goal and support Ramona, Miriam and Joanne.

Thank you for reading this page, and help me wish the three girls all the luck and support they deserve.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Angela, Ramona, Miriam, and Joanne. xx
