Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I ran the Coventry Half Marathon on 25th October 2009.... !!!

I want to thank everyone who supported me.... and helped to raise a fabulous £447 ...

....for the Neonatal Unit at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, in memory of my beautiful little niece, Lucy Florence Jean Cartwright, who was sadly born asleep on 24th September 2009.

For those stats nuts out there.. I did it in 2 hours (plus 18 seconds!)... yeah!!

The unit provides family-centred intensive care to babies from the smallest and sickest premature babies to full term newborn babies. Whilst Lucy never made it to one of these units I know the care they provide is superb - saving babies lives and supporting families.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Huge thanks to everyone for supporting me- and this very worthy charity...

lots of love and hugs
