As some of you may know, I'm running the Stockholm Marathon in a few months time. It's my first marathon and I'm pretty scared. So far, the training is going well -much thanks to my over enthusiastic Mother! I'm starting to believe it may actually be physically possible...

 

I have chosen to run for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Last year my Granny valiantly battled this cruel disease. Remarkably she regards herself as incredibly lucky; firstly to have survived but also to have had cancer so late in her life, when many others are not so lucky.

 

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer. If you wish to make a donation or leave some words of encouragement to help me get through the rest of my training and the 26 long miles ahead, I would be most grateful.
