Hey everyone,

 

I'm asking you to dig deep for one of my favorite charities - Kith and Kids.  Kith and Kids helps disabled people to live independent, fuller lives and provides support for their carers and families.  They do loads of stuff:  holiday camps, weekend clubs, advocacy and friendship schemes, provide legal advice and support etc.  Even if its something really simple like taking someone out to the cinema once in a while or giving a tired parent a break for the weekend, the activities your donation will fund have a real impact on peoples quality of life.  My family have been involved with Kith and Kids for years so I know personally the difference they can make.  I've also volunteered with them which is great fun, check out the VIDEO or their website at www.kithandkids.org.  AND DO CLICK GIFT AID - IT DOESNT COST YOU MORE, JUST THOSE NICE CHAPS AT THE TREASURY ADD IN SOME FOR GOOD MEASURE. What will your donation fund?

 

£5 will help buy sports or art equipmentfor weekend clubs and projects

£15 can pay for one person with a learning disability or autism to take part in a therapeutic workshop such as massage, craft, drama or music. 

£25 could allow one person to enjoy a day out of their choice with two trained volunteers.

£50 will help pay for parents to attend two support group sessions.

£100 will cover a person’s costs for the whole week at one of our Social Development Projects.
