Going bananas for charity?!
Lovely people. Ali and I are taking part in a 27 mile, 2 day trek along in August in aid of The Karen Morris Memorial Trust. The KMMT was set up in memory of a friend's sister who sadly lost her life to leukaemia. The KMMT's main focus is to build home from homes for leukaemia patients and their families when they are receiving treatment. They currently have homes in Hammersmith and and have plans for and .
I know many
of you kind people have sponsored us before to run marathons and climb the odd mountain. So,
if 27 miles over two days feels a bit too easy I’m going to be working a bit
harder for my money by dressing up…as a banana! There is logic there, honestly.
Hadrian’s Wall was designated Fairtrade in 2010, the biggest selling Fairtrade
line in the
is bananas and….I like bananas. Is that enough? Most importantly, it will make the walking harder and provide YOU with funny photos so please
will you sponsor me?
Ali won't be wearing a banana outfit but he does HATE walking, camping and spending time with bananas to there is going to be hurt on his side too! :)
So please dig deep and donate now. Any amount will be greatly appreciated by us and the KMMT.
