I have never been and probably will never be 'A Runner'. But, since January 2010, I have been semi-shuffling through the streets of Leeds - a shock to myself and the good citizens of Morley.

The benefits so far have been great. Like I've rediscovered my cheekbones, and found a new love of Heart Rate Monitors. And tested a few Sports Bras into oblivion.

But most of all, I want to share some of this benefit around and use the challenge of a 10k to go to an amazing cause.

Jane Tomlinson's Run For All  is now as much of a Leeds institution as Jane was an inspiration. You can find out more about Jane's Appeal and the race at www.runforall.com.

I'm running (/shuffling) on July 4th solely in aid of Jane's Appeal.

So please give whatever you can to help me reach my goal of £250. After all, I am currently in massive doubt that I can make it and that equals £25 a K. So if I can keep that in mind, I'll keep going!
