Story

I will be running my first ever Marathon on the 21st of April 2024. Along the way (until the date and even during the marathon) I’m hoping to raise as much money as I can to support St Richards Hospice.

In December 2015, my father in law was diagnosed with terminal cancer… just 3 weeks later, we lost him. It was the most horrendously heartbreaking time for all of us. Gareth was so loved  and I’m not just saying that because that’s what people say, he really was! He was so kind and had such a dry sense of humour. His no nonsense attitude too was one you wouldn’t mess with. He was 57.

St Richards Hospice were  there for him and us. What they do for patients and families during the toughest of times is immeasurable and it’s only funded by donations.

So here I am, I’ll run 26.2 miles to raise as much as I possibly can for them!
