Well we did it - and everybody set a course personal best! It is fair to say that some of our previous times were rubbish but we'll skate over that point. It was a very hot day which took its toll but we soldiered on through the course, through the post event massage provided by Butterwick and straight into a pub - just to replace fluids you understand!

Not many vests were worn by the team - only Alan being secure enough in his masculinity to don the Butterwick freebie with Alistair, Stuart and John claiming the high likelihood of chaffing, tight cut and/or thickness of material would slow them down!

Many thanks to everybody who donated - the fact that the Butterwick is a great cause was recognised by so many people and meant that we smashed through our target.
