Some people have called me crazy, some mad and some I think are just very proud that I have taken the step to do this.  I have for many years wanted to throw myself out of an aeroplane at 10,000ft and now I am actually going to do it!  

I am jumping (tandem) on Saturday 22nd May in Salisbury for the fantastic charity Hospitality Action.  This charity work hard at helping those who have given their lives to the industry who have fallen on bad times, they also support a youth guidance scheme educating on alcohol and drugs misuse.

As many of you know I have worked approx 18 years in the industry in different roles, so the charity seems very appropriate for me.  However, this is also a huge personal acheivement and your support really will be greatly appreciated.

Update - 08.03.2010 - I have just received a surprise good luck wish from celeb chef James Martin - "Best of luck, your mad, love you - James".  I am going to try and scan and attach to my page!  How exciting!

Update - 15.05.2010 - Due to an unforseen ear infection, I will not be jumping in May now, however I am awaiting confirmation from the jump organisation of a re-confirmed date, hopefully first week of July!  Watch this space!!  I have not chickened out and I am absolutely gutted, but these things cannot be helped! 

All confirmed - new date for Jump - Saturday 10th July 2010!!!  Really pleased now! x
