Clic Sargent is the leading charity for children and young people with cancer and their families. Among the countless things they do, they provide families a 'Home from Home' to stay in close to where their child is receiving treatment, which can often be 100s of miles away from where they live. They also give families the opportunity to go on holiday together, away from the everyday challenges they face.

I have supported this charity, which is very close to my heart, for many years. My target is to raise £1800, which will go a long way to help this worthwhile charity support the children they care for and their families. £1800 will pay for 2 families to stay in a 'home from home' for a month to stay near their child. I know what a difference this can make.

Any donations you can give would help so much. Here are some examples of what your money can help towards...

£4 could pay for a story book that explains cancer to children in simple language and illustrations, so they can understand what is happening to them.

£15 can pay for a dvd to help families where a child had died from cancer to understand and cope with grief. 

£100 could pay for 8 hours of a clic Sargent nurse's time, helping to maximise the time children with cancer can spend at home. 

£170 could pay for a clic Sargent grant to help meet the sudden extra costs that cancer can bring. 

£300 could fund a grant to help a bereaved family pay for a child's funeral.
