We have been given the opportunity to take part in the Great North Run this year, by Disability Sport Events (DSE).

DSE create participation opportunities for disabled people with all impairments.   They are a small charity and rely heavily on fundraising and sponsorship to continue their work.

As most of you know Lucy needed various hip operations as a child and if it wasn’t for these would have been in a wheelchair today. DSE are able to assist people who are not as fortunate to participate and do well in sports, and we are very happy to be able to run in the Great North Run to help raise funds for them to do this.
