Story

I'm raising money for the Haemophilia Society, who use the money donated to them, to research treatment for blood disorders, including Haemophilia. Severe haemophilia is the most extreme case, where boys get spontainious bleeds, and in poor and undeveloped countries. where factor 8 treatment is too expensive, they must recover from bleeds by rest and physiotherapy which is a long and horribly painful experience.

Money raised goes towards not only research but into enabling people affected by bleeding disorders to understand and manage their condition whilst participating in decision making. Their aims include improving the services, resources and support given to the people affected by bleeding disorders.
The Haemophilia Society campaigns on behalf of people affected by bleeding disorders, giving them opportunites they may not otherwise be given.
