7/6/10 - UPDATE:
WE DID IT!!!
We're very pleased to report that we all finished the race on 31st!! Woo hoo! It was hard work but we had a fab day, as you can see from the photos on the left. Thank you so much for sponsoring us, the fundraising running total is brilliant thanks to you guys (and if you haven't done so but would like to, there's still time ...!!!)

P.S And I'd just like to say a huge thank you to my
wonderful Phil for being such a brilliant one man support team, both
beforehand and as top 'bananaman' on the day! :-) L xx
On 31st May we'll be
running the Chester marathon in aid of the PSP Association. It'll be Lucy & Amanda's first marathon, and Mark's first marathon for quite a while! We're very
excited about the race (even if training for it has proved more than we
bargained for!).
This cause is particularly close to Lucy & her family's heart
as her uncle Marcus
suffers from PSP.
Progressive Supranuclear Palsy ( PSP) is a
terminal degenerative brain disease which affects balance, mobility, eye
movement, speech and swallowing, with an estimated 10,000 sufferers in
the UK, making it at least as common as Motor Neurone Disease.
Currently there is no effective treatment for
PSP & the Association supports research into prevention & cure,
as well as supporting individuals & their families.
Thanks
again, anything you feel you can give is much appreciated.
Love
Lucy, Amanda & Mark x
