Hello there. It would be great if you could sponsor me. I'm taking part in the John Lewis Partnership's Corporate division tandem parachute jump in Bicester, Oxfordshire, on May 23.

There's 14 of us doing the jump and the event is to raise funds for The Alzheimer's Society as part of the John Lewis Partnership's Corporate division and Alzheimer's Society community fundraising partnership.

I'm a little bit scared - in fact I feel sick just thinking about it - but, hey, life's too short not to jump out of a plane strapped to a fit Australian (I'm hoping).

Please spare a bit of cash for this worthy cause, it's our charity of the year, and I guess that if I'm going to risk my neck how about you risk a couple of quid?
