As this was the year of my fiftieth birthday , I wanted to take on a challenge that stretched me physically, spiritually, intellectually and also raised money for a good cause.

Since I am learning spanish, enjoy walking and am Catholic this walk seemed to fit the bill. I hope you will join me either physically or in spirit along the route, and I hope to post regular pictures. Training has begun!

BLISS has long given practical and personal ,advice and information, when families find themsleves unexpectedly in the very challenging environment of neonatal intesive care. I have been please to have been involved with developing initiatives with BLISS, and hope to give some contribution to their fantastic work.
