Hi All

 

As you are all aware I am known for being extremely accident prone & for frequently falling flat on my face without imbibing any alcohol!! However I am going to accept the challenge of walking on fire for 5 meters for the ‘KIDS’ charity, hopefully without setting myself on fire or falling over.

‘KIDS’ has been my favourite charity for two years now, my friends little girl Ellie Morley attends ‘KIDS’ when she is not in hospital. Ellie can’t walk & needs a ventilator to breathe after she was born with the hereditary disease Spinal Muscular Atrophy type II, which causes weakness & wasting of the arm and leg muscles.

Ellie is a bright happy child & attending ‘KIDS’ permits her to integrate with other children.

 

‘KIDS’   mission statement is “working in partnership with parents and carers to enable disabled children and young people to develop their skills and abilities and to fulfil their potential, hopes and aspirations.”
