Story

Dear All Lynn's was originally supposed to Skydive on May 8th but the day was postponed due to bad weather. We have now re-booked the date for June 12th!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Lynn's Bowel Cancer Campaign is a special charity all about prevention, early diagnosis and screening - saving people from getting this common cancer by catching it early and saving people from developing advanced disease.   Lynn, the former BBC Watchdog presenter, was given the shock diagnosis of advanced bowel cancer when her son was just three - she knows how cruel this cancer can be.  Yet it is preventable and curable.   Thousands more people every year should live.

Lynn & her volunteers have helped to do big things - fund research into the best ways to diagnose bowel cancer early, helped to produce the world’s first evidence based symptoms advice, helped to set up formal training centres in colonoscopy, helped to raise awareness with lots of TV and radio appearances, lots of special events – every penny you give us will go towards our work as we are a truly voluntary charity.

Lynn says:  I'm jumping out of a plane - even though the thought really scares me - because there is nothing as scary as being told you have bowel cancer.  I'm lucky I survived.  We want to stop dozens of people every day dying of bowel cancer - with your help, they can be lucky too."

Join us in the fight to save lives by supporting Lynn's Skydive on June 12th!
