Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have set up this page for my 10 year old daughter, Emily, who suddenly announced a few weeks ago that she wanted to shave her hair!. Emily said that she wanted to help people suffering from cancer somehow. My good friend suffered from breast cancer last year and said that she "would have sunk" without the support of MacMillan and so Emily said that was who she wanted to fundraise for.  When I asked Emily if she realised how she would look with no hair, she replied, "At least I have the choice mum, I’m
so glad that I am well and not HAVING to lose my hair". Emily also wants to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children suffering hair loss.
Emily is touched by peoples kindess and generousity and is so glad that she is helping to raise money for a very worthwhile cause. I said that lots of people are saying how brave she is, she replied "I'm not as brave as those people who not only have to lose their hair but are often very poorly as well".

Thanks for your support xx
