We offer emotional and practical support to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis.

Story

Well I will be reaching the BIG 6 0 in July 2010.  Where have the years gone?

Instead of receiving gifts (what do you need when you are 60), I would prefer donations to CLAN if you so desire.

I would like to raise the funds for CLAN for all the support our family received when I was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago.  They are amazing.

Having passed CLAN House over the years, and wondered what they were about, I would never have thought that I would be requiring their services.

CLAN is an independent charity for anyone affected by any type of cancer at any time from diagnosis onwards.  Whether affected personally, as a carer, family member or close friend, CLAN’s services are available to you.

Based at CLAN House in Aberdeen, they cover the whole of Grampian, Orkney and Shetland.

In March 2008, CLAN launched it’s fundraising campaign to build a new fit for purpose cancer support centre and accommodation facility with the ain of raising £3 Million over the next two years.  CLAN web site can be found on www.clanhouse.org

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
