After a combined banking career of 14O years myself and my colleagues and friends Alan McLaren, James Gilchrist & Jacqui Webster will be leaving the Bank of Scotland in March for pastures new. It has been a privilege to meet some magnificent customers, colleagues, and many professional people during our time with the Bank.

Bank of Scotland has always encouraged us to do our best and give back to the communities we serve. With their support we have decided to undertake a sponsored walk for a minimum of 10 miles around some of the landmarks in Glasgow.

We have chosen to walk for Centrestage Communities, a pioneering charity based in Ayrshire which provides places and opportunities to bring people together to feel safe & included using the Arts to support aspiration, promote social mobility and provide hope. Centre stage has developed a diverse range of outreach projects, borne out of the need seen in communities and people who live with multiple deprivations who are seeking a place to belong. 

At its heart is the Centrestage Theatre in Kilmarnock, due to move to new premises in 2020 on the site of the former Kilmarnock Academy. 

Your donations will support the excellent work that is carried out in supporting young people with additional support needs, those affected by dementia, those who are lonely, been in prison and affected by food poverty.

Bank of Scotland will match your donations up to a level of £2000.
