Hello!

In celebration of Mary and Ricky’s combined 60th birthdays and 30th wedding anniversary (that’s half of their lives being married to each other!), we have chosen to fundraise for the Jubilee Sailing Trust who do amazing work enabling people with mixed abilities to enjoy sailing expeditions at sea. 

Many of you may know that Mary and Ricky have already done a short sailing trip with JST earlier this year and both absolutely loved it. They have already shown interest in doing another trip through the charity and so we would love to enable them to do a bigger trip together - 8 days sailing around Las Palmas. We are certain that they will love this! 

So the idea is that instead of a physical gift, their friends will fundraise for the charity that they have benefitted from as well as contribute to a special trip for them both. All of the money fundraised through this page will go directly to the charity and can therefore be gift-aided. But for every pound that is fundraised through this page for the charity, the same amount will be put towards the sailing trip for Mary and Ricky (up to the cost of the Las Palmas trip). This will be done through direct contributions from some of their friends instead of donating to the charity.
