Hello there, those who know me will already be aware of some of the daft things I have done to raise money for charities such as the NSPCC and Childrens Rainbow Trust, these have been done with the aid of my great friends and have involved me getting my head shaved for being a monk (it has never grew back) to being a frogman (very cold on new years eve) to being a clown (well no change there I hear you say)

This time though I couldn't talk them into this one, I am going to try to run 6 miles for the Sports Relief charity on Sunday 21st March at Nottingham Embankment, (the most running they will do is to the bar for last orders haha) but I am sure they will are pledge money for this great cause (oh yes they will haha)

All the money we raise for Sport Relief is spent by Comic Relief to help disadvantaged people, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries, to turn their lives around.

Your fundraising cash might be spent helping kids in Africa get into primary school or supporting an isolated older person in the UK to meet other people so they feel less lonely. But one thing's for sure - the money you raise will help to make the world of difference to people's lives.

For Sport Relief 2010, we’re highlighting three of the many issues your cash will help to tackle - children who live on the streets or work in dangerous conditions, people affected by malaria and local UK projects.

Although I do try to keep fit, mostly Badminton and Squash, this is something quite different for me and being a bit of a chunky monkey longer runs are not really my thing, but I am willing to give this my best shot and hope to finish it without collapsing or embarrasing myselt .....too much!
