Age UK Lambeth's MYsocial service brings people together to try new things, connect with their neighbours, develop friendships, share their knowledge and skills, and feel part of their community. We believe that everyone has something to offer our community.

In response to the current cost of living crisis, MYsocial members will be providing a warm space where members and clients from other AUKL services can enjoy a friendly chat with a free warm bowl of soup, bread and hot drinks. This will be at our community space, Vida's, in the heart of Brixton, just by Windrush Square. 

MYsocial members will be preparing the soup, serving, and providing a warm welcome to all that visit. We will also be giving hot soup and warm bread to others in the local community who would like some. 

We need to raise money for ingredients, extra crockery and cutlery, paper cartons for the soup to take away, and more costs as they crop up. We hope to run this weekly from October until February, or as long as there is demand for it.
