We are raising this money to pay for the postage costs to send 186 shoeboxes with gifts for Christmas, to deprived, poverty-stricken children in a small school in Zambia, Africa. This small charity was founded, and has been run for the last 12 years, by Fairfield Park residents Vineet and Sian Bhatnagar. You can find more information at http://shinecharity.org.

We already have enough volunteers who are busy packing boxes, but if you would like to donate even just £2 then this will massively help towards funding the postage to get these boxes over there. If we don’t hit our target, we will fund this out of the charity - however this takes money away from much needed medical supplies, food, and many other much needed items!
