Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m running in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 5K . For those that don’t know it’s up and around Arthur’s Seat the Volcano overlooking Edinburgh. So it’ll be quite a hard run.

Then I’m taking part in the Great North 10k in Gateshead starting at Gateshead stadium then running down to the quayside then Passing under the iconic Tyne Bridge and heading along to the Sage Gateshead and BALTIC before bending back along the Quayside for a triumphant lap of the Gateshead International Stadium track, cheered on by your family and friends.

The latest addition to the 10k course is the now infamous ’Slog on the Tyne’ section, a steady uphill climb that will really put your training to the test.

Finally I’ll be running the River Ness 5K which is a flat course, so I’m hoping for a personal best here.

I’ve paid to enter these events myself so every penny will go to UNICEF to help children in desperate situations all around the world.

The races take place 25 May, 8 July and 23 September respectively.

Please give what you can, every pound really does count.
