I shall be travelling 22 days on 17 trains through 8 European countries (France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Austria and Germany) covering several thousand miles. Starting on the 1st October 2022 from Great Yarmouth station to St.Pancras International station, en-route to Paris to raise money for the Priscilla Bacon Hospice in Norfolk. 

This hospice is desperately needed for the people of Norfolk and Waveney. They have already raised over £10m of their £12.5m target, and broke ground on the new site in February 2022. I really want to play my part in helping them to raise the final amount to complete the project as soon as possible! The new hospice will boast the most modern facilities and a wider range of services, giving people with terminal or life-limiting illness a greater choice of care.

Over 50 years ago, I hitch-hiked through Europe on my way to Australia. This will be a nostalgic trip for me as I will pass through several of the places that I travelled through then. I would be very grateful for any donations to support this worthy cause. Thank you.
