In April 2011 Becky and I will join Professor Winston and about 80 other women for cycle China, the 10th women-only challenge, to fund groundbreaking medical research work at the Wolfson and Weston Research Centre for Family Health in London. We will be cycling 450kms in Beijing province and need to raise a minimum of £7,000.  This is going to be a seriously tough challenge (not much of a biker you see!!) but the funds raised will help Women for Women train scientists and clinicians to work at the centre, improving prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of devasting conditions affecting women and their babies such as Cancer, Miscarriage, Genetic diseases, Still birth, Pre-eclampsia, Infertility, Obstetric cholestasis, Brain damage, Polycystic ovary syndrome.
