Story

UPDATE!  Due to the earthquake we will now be heading to Morocco in May 2024! We will be hiking to the summit of Mount Toubkal in the Atlas mountains, at 4167m it's the highest peak in North Africa, all in the name of charity!  We are fundraising for a local charity in Henley called The Chiltern Centre, supporting young adults with disabilities, which is close to our hearts.  Amelia (Marc & Ben's sister-in-law and Jen & Malo's dear friend) has Down's Syndrome and has attended The Chiltern Centre for many years; now 41 she is back as a volunteer, supporting young people for whom the centre is a lifeline. The Chiltern Centre has had a huge impact on her life, they empower young people with disabilities to live life to the full. They offer the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, gain confidence, self esteem and independence and have fun. At the same time giving the families of these young people the opportunity to take some time for themselves.  The Chiltern Centre relies on community support to keep its doors open, so this trek will make a major difference in so many lives.  Please donate what you can!
