My family have a personal interest in this charity and disease. Sadly my uncle passed away from this disease and my husband was diagnosed at 43 years old, which changed our lives forever. 1 in 4 black/mixed guys are affected by prostate cancer and 1 in 8 white guys. It scares me to know my son could be that 1 in 4, and I vowed that I will make a difference for the next generation by raising awareness and funds to get earlier diagnosis, trials, treatments and support for men and their families.
