Hello all,

I'm running the Great North Run on Sunday 19th September 2010 in aid of Diamond Blackfan Anaemia UK.

Training is underway and i'm building up the miles. My legs are about 1/2" shorter but i'm sticking with the regime! Only a month to go until the big day. So anything that you can contribute will be greatly received and will spur me on to the start line ;-)

Diamond Blackfan Anaemia is a very rare and debilitating condition which affects around 60 children and young adults in the . Its cause is unknown; in fact it is believed it may be a number of different disorders each exhibiting the same end characteristics. You can find out more on the website.
