Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in the Aberdeen kiltwalk 2024. Kiltwalk is Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event with over 145,000 people taking part since 2016.My team are doing 'The Mighty Stride' which is a 17.8 mile walk from Duthie Park in Aberdeen to Banchory.

I'm raising money for a cause that's very dear to a colleague of mine, Scottish Association for Children with Heart Disorders (SACHD).

The SACHD is a Support Group run by families of cardiac children, for families with, or who have had, children with heart disorders. Monies raised mainly go to providing specialised equipment that the NHS are unable to fund.  They also supply free to families Coaguchek Machines which eliminates the need for children to undergo regular blood tests to check their INR levels (blood thickness). Fun days and family weekends are also funded throughout the year to provide additional support and for heart children to meet and get to know other children just like them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
