Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Fountain Centre supports cancer patients and their families from diagnosis and beyond with counselling, information and complementary therapies.  There is also a family service which provides a safe space for children to talk about their fears when a loved one has a cancer diagnosis or they have lost a love one to cancer. 

The Fountain Centre  volunteers are at the heart of everything they do and the centre could not operate without them.   They have not had new polo shirts in quite a few years and as there are over 100 volunteers at the centre this makes replacing them very costly.  The cost comes in at over £1,000. 

The Fountain Centre is 21 in October 2019, and I thought it would be an ideal time to make sure everyone looks smart for the occasion.    I am asking all of my friends to donate £2 and share this page in the hope that some of their friends will donate £2 and so on and so on.   If you want to donate more than £2 ......... you won't offend me! ;o) 

I won't be jumping of any tall buildings (I am afraid of heights) or running any marathons (I have a metal ankle) .  I am going to do what I do best and talk.  I will go live on Facebook every day in August and tell a joke (i.e make a tit of myself as I never remember jokes) but you will at least have an opportunity to laugh at me and know that you have my sincere thanks and gratitude for helping a cause very close to my heart.
