Dear friends, family and collegues.

 

Some have said i am dillusional, some have said I am crazy. Some have said I can never do it! and  it is those people I would like to thank for giving me the drive to actually commit to doing this.

 

4 years ago i thought i could never complete a half marthon, i have now completed 3. Now...the ultimate challenge awaits me....an actual full marathon!  I realise this wont be easy, and i realise i have to perform some miracles over the next 4 weeks, but I'm up for the challenge.

 

As in customary, i am required to raise £1000 for my chosen charity. I have chosen African Children as my charity - so I hope you could all spare a a few Pounds/Rand's Euro's - and if you aren't too concerned about the charity, at least think of it as helping me out :)...what better cause is there in this world than the 'Maria cause'....anyway..???

 

Over and above the sponsor plea above, and more importantly, if any of you are up for it on the day, come along and support- I know I will definately be needing it.....   I will be the very red faced person towards the back, huffing and puffing....
