<p class="MsoNormal">It is now five years since I cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats in 8 days for charity. I have decided to cycle from Wembley to the Arc de Triomphe (244 miles, 3 days) as part of the Football League Arch to Arc initiative to raise money for ‘ Help the Hospices’. My motivation is that I have just lost two friends in their mid forties to bowel cancer and a brain tumour, leaving behind young families. Both families were indebted to their respective hospices for the care and treatment Jonathan and Stuart received in the last weeks of their lives. They both worked in sport, which was a passion to them. Please give generously. </p>
