Sue Burrell (from the BPA) has 'roped' us in to complete the Great North Run on Sunday 11 September 2016 to raise funds for the BPA!
We have chosen to run for the British Porphyria Association (BPA) as our friend Sue (who suffers regularly with acute intermittent porphyria) works for this small charity which works hard to support people living across the whole of the UK and Ireland with the eight different porphyrias. The BPA charity holds various events across the UK to offer patients and their family’s information and support. They work closely with expert doctors to publish various newsletters, information leaflets and other printed materials for patients and GPs.
