We fight disease and injury in animals to give dogs, cats and horses happier lives

Story

April 26th 2007 was a bad day. A 26 mile jog around london turned into a humiliating nightmare. The heat was high and spirits were low as I found myself being gassed by 'Dave' the Bakewell Tart (picture attached) along embankment after several hours of running/fast walking/crawling.

So, after 3 years of bakewell tart banter I am finally ready to take on the London marathon again.

This time around I am running for the Animal Health Trust. I like animals, (in a completely normal way) and I therefore found this to be an appropriate charity to raise money for. The Animal Health Trust is a veterinary charity dedicated to improving the health and welfare of horses, cats and dogs.

The charity undertakes very worthwhile work and research to try and prevent any unnecessary suffering for the animals. The trust offers internships to young vets and also hosts researchers that are constantly publishing papers regarding new treatments and vaccines.

So please dig deep and donate now!
