Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I am 52 and for the first time ever have decided to do a distance run. I have taken part in the Robin Hood half marathon on 13 September 2009 and decided to celebrate my age by running 10 miles for each year in the year leading up to, and including, the event and to raise £100 for each year in sponsorship (including Gift Aid)
You can see from the page above how the sponsorship is going and to raise the funds I need your support.
In the period since last year's event and up to 13 September (the end of the half marathon) I have run 535 miles and so have achieved this.
You may or may not be aware that I am the CEO of a charity called Change4Change which raises funds in this country to finance the setting up of businesses in the developing world to take people out of poverty and in the last few years have affected thousands of lives and so this is me doing my part.
This year I had the opportunity to visit projects in India with my daughter and it was fantastic to see the changes we are making, but heartbreaking to see what still needs to be done and so PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!!
