Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year, I aim to do two things. On the 19th of September I will be competing in this year's Great North Run. This will be the final time (honest!) I plan to run this event - my 21st occasion - and the main reason I am running it is to share the event with my son Andrew who will be running it for the first time, also for the Stroke Association. I expect Andrew to finish comfortably ahead of me, but I plan to give him a run for his money! Before this, I will be attempting - together with my friend Lyndon - to walk Northumberland from A to B - that is, Allenheads in south Northumberland through to Berwick in the north. We should be joined in this venture for parts of the way by a few other people, but we are the ones who will be making the whole journey. We plan to take 6 days for the event, which will be quite a challenge, featuring as it will walks of up to 23 miles per day. Let's hope that our feet and knees are able to take the distance!
I hope that you will dig deep into your pockets to send us on our way for each of these two events and will make your donation via JustGiving.
