On Monday 13th May, Chris and I lost our very good friend Stoney. First and foremost, this ride and walk will be in memory of him. 

Our good friends' Pete, Dave, Anil and Bevi are walking the Dalesway in three days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday next week, but as Chris and I are working on Friday we are unable to join them. We wanted to do something so decided that on Sunday we'd cycle from Bowness to Bolton Abbey (70miles) and walk the last 6 miles back from Bolton Abbey to Ilkley with the others! 

We are raising money for Mind as it was a charity close to Stoney's heart. It is estimated that 1 in 6 people in the past week experienced a common mental health problem. Mind talk to people experiencing problems like this and help to source the support that people need.
