Please help me to make a difference to a child's life by sponsoring me on this ride.
SCC supports over 2,000 disadvantaged children with scholarships every year and provides vocational and life skills training to help Vietnamese children most in need, gain a basic education and equip themselves with skills necessary to work their way out of poverty. To this end, SCC builds schools, provide scholarships and vocational training.
$100 is sufficient to provide a year's scholarship for a child at the kindergarten/primary or secondary level.
Since the first ride in 2010, the annual Charity Cycle Adventure (CCA) has raised over $280,000 to help Saigon Children’s Charity (SCC) support disadvantaged children and young adults in Vietnam.
SCC was founded in 1992 for a specific purpose: to help disadvantaged Vietnamese children get an education to help them escape from poverty. Today, as we are to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, SCC continues to focus on the same needs, giving children an opportunity for a better life.
Over the last seven years, CCA has welcomed a range of enthusiastic cyclists from all over the world who mix their love of cycling through the spectacular scenery of Vietnam with raising funds for those children and youngsters less fortunate than themselves.
Inspirational cyclists riding to support disadvantaged children
One of the great things about the CCA is that the riders personally pay for the costs of the ride, so sponsors and supporters know that all the money the intrepid riders raise, goes directly to SCC to help fund our work.
