Fundraising for British Liver Trust
Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It is ten years since my dad, Gareth passed away from liver disease, I’ve never really done anything special in memory of him or raised any significant amount of money for charity before, other than donating a couple of pounds to other peoples efforts now and again or pledging money to Children in Need or Red Nose Day once a year. So I thought it would be a good idea to get off my backside and do something in memory of the 10th anniversary of my dad’s death. I’m aiming to raise as much money as possible for the British Liver Trust by running the 10k on September 12th 2010, so if you could be really generous and help me raise a respectable amount of cash for a very worthy charity I would really appreciate it. The British Liver Trust is the national charity working to reduce the impact of liver disease in the through support, information and research. Your support will help to provide vital services to people who need them so much. Your donation could: · help to run a Helpline for people who have any questions or concerns about liver disease · help to co-ordinate liver patient support groups across the country · help to produce publications about liver disease for patients and healthcare professionals · help to stop liver disease in its tracks by educating the public about ways that liver disease can be prevented · help fund research into causes of and treatments for liver disease Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Thanks,Matt* Charities pay a small fee for our service.
