In December 2021, Martin Green heard the devastating news that he was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. The doctors gave a prognosis of 2-3 months. The whole family, and close friends, were shocked to say the least. In this dark time, Hospiscare Team supported us right from the start, visiting Martin at home, and always being at the end of the phone. During Martin's illness, the nursing and medical team provided exemplary care. Even after Martin’s passing, the team continue to provide a caring service to the whole family. During these times, it is often said that nothing is too much. With Hospiscare, we have found this to be the case. Whenever we have needed a chat on the phone, or details on next steps, the charity have been there for us 24 hours a day.

We cannot stress more the value of this charity, as they have been truly amazing. This charity only exists due to the kind donations of others. We hope that we can raise money so that other families can have the opportunity to experience the care and support we have, and continue to do so.
