Story

It’s been a year since the loss of our close friend Matthew King so Martin Orme and Mark Ashby want to do something worthwhile in his memory. To those who have lost young loved ones know it is particularly hard to bare. This is why we attempt to raise money for Prevention of Young Suicide (PAPYRUS), who help young people in emotional distress and support families dealing with suicide. As for our challenge, it is suitably extravagant for our friend Matt! We will compete in several half-marathons and long distance hill runs in preparation for a gruelling 10 mile run up and down on 5th June. The first of these is the Stafford Half-Marathon on the 21st of March, which would have been Matthews 24th birthday. Please support us all you can! Your money can really make a difference to save young lives.
